Combine Harv-racer

Submission for Ludum Dare 52.

Why, howdy there partner!

You look like you fancy takin’ part in this here combine harvester racing competition!

Start yer’ engines and get ready to see corn go flyin’, but watch out for stray cows on the track.

How to play

• Drive round the track, avoid cows, havest corn to go faster.
• Complete 3 laps as fast as you can, and try to beat your time!

• WASD / Arrow keys = Move

Things I planned to add but ran out of time...

• Grand Prix: Race against 7 other Harvs, absolute chaos!
• Cowmageddon: Hit 10 cows to enter a hidden "Cowmageddon" super state.

Notes

• Game by Harry Elwell.
• I worked on this game solo.
• All art, sounds, and code are original.
• This was my first time trying a racing game, I’m so pleased with how it turned out!

• Music & FX: FL Studio, using a handful of free “DSK” VSTs and some that I’ve paid for previously.
